UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School is delighted to offer prospective students the opportunity to apply for a range of scholarships for the academic year 2009/2010. To apply for the scholarship, applicants must submit an essay (300 words) on why you believe you should receive the scholarship.

Scholarships are valid for the following programmes:

• MBS/MSc streams
• CEMS Master in International Management
• Master in Management
• MSc in Quantitative Finance
• Master of Accounting (valid for non company sponsored students only)

The following scholarships are on offer:

5 REGIONAL MERIT BASED PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS

• Region 1: Asia and Australasia
• Region 2: Central and Eastern Europe
• Region 3: North and Central America
• Region 4: Western Europe
• Region 5: Middle East and Africa

MERIT/HARDSHIP BASED PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS

These scholarships are awarded to candidates who demonstrate through their application and essay that they are deserving based on merit (non-academic achievements eg. Sports, community activities, charity work, overcoming obstacles) or financial need

1 X QUINN COMMERCE SCHOLARSHIP

Applicable to UCD Quinn School undergraduate students

*Scholarship only valid across any of the MBS /MSc streams

1 X UCD SCHOLARSHIP

Applicable to all UCD undergraduate students (except Quinn students)
